The 2-colour Label- and

Receipt Printer TM-L90

With the TM-L90 EPSON offers a new high-end thermal label and

receipt printer for the POS and industrial applications. Its special

features are an amazingly fast printing speed, high-resolution print-

ing quality and a wide range of applications. The use of a special

grade of thermal paper which reacts to two different temperatures

enables the printer to print not only in the obligatory black, but also

in a second colour.

Thanks to a resolution of 203 x 203 dpi complex, sharp reproduc-

tions of graphics and logos are child’s play for the new thermal

printer. In addition, it prints various 2D bar-codes with great accu-

racy. This type of bar-code can carry considerably more informa-

tion than conventional bar-codes and is used in logistics, photo-

development, post or industrial applications. This means the new 1-

station printer from EPSON is ideally equipped today to meet the

demands of tomorrow at the POS.

Flexible and reliable

The housing of the TM-L90 is designed so that it can be installed

standing upright, lying down or suspended on the wall, depending

on the location. All cable connections are concealed within the

housing. No matter how the printer is used, its high printing speed

is guaranteed. With an MCBF capacity of 70 million lines and the

printers’ energy-saving mode, the printer also stands for maximum

reliability coupled with low energy costs.

The thermal printer TM-L90 achieves up to 150 millimetres per

second and can be configured with a serial, parallel, USB or

Ethernet connection.

Like all EPSON thermal printers, the “newcomer” naturally also has

an interface for the automatic opening of up to two cash drawers.

And thanks to the tried and tested drop-in method, changing the

paper roll is a fast and simple task. The TM-L90 features an inte-

grated paper cutter which ensures a clean, quick cut at exactly the

right time. A selection of optional paper widths permits great flexi-

bility in the design of receipts and labels. As well as this, the high-

end thermal printer is obtainable not only in EPSON cool white, but

also in EPSON dark grey and with or without PS-180 power supply.
