Auto Flash
The camera
determines the need for a flash
based on lighting conditions.
Auto Flash with Red-eye
reduction Minimizes the occurrence of
red-eye in photos of people or animals.
The flash goes off twice—once to
condition the subject’s eyes for the flash,
and a second time to take the photo.
Flash Off
Set the flash to Off
when you want to be sure the flash
is not used.
Fill
Flash
Set the flash to Fill when the
lighting for the entire photo is sufficient,
but the lighting for the subject is not, as
in a backlighting situation.
