Unrivalled performance
A newly developed print head carriage achieves faster throughput by
increasing head speed. In addition, the optimised waveform and
precise colour control realise maximum performance without
compromising quality. The result is faster response than other Epson
printers in its class*, assuring optimal speed for any print job.

Fast throughput — The key to speed
A new precision front-feed mechanism and redesigned paper path work to
dramatically ease media handling. Even fine art paper, which previously
had to be fed from the rear by manually attaching a guide, can now be
inserted from the front. Epson engineers developed a front-feeding paper
tray and rear support so that media feeds upwards, which means you
don't have to feed paper horizontally backwards. This eliminates the need
for rear feeding and thus effectively reduces the printer’s footprint.
Advanced media handling for fine art paper
Out-of-box compatibility with Ethernet and WiFi networks makes Epson
Stylus
®
Photo R3000 ideal for any photo studio, graphics house or
SOHO, while support for USB 2.0 further expands connectivity options.
WiFi access even extends to new-generation PEDs like iPad and iPhone.
Wired and wireless connectivity
With nearly 2.3 times the ink of
cartridges in previous Epson models,
you can devote more time to
production and less to
maintenance — something that any
busy professional will appreciate.
High-capacity ink cartridges
Check printer status at a glance on
the bright, roomy colour LCD
monitor. The large size increases
readability of messages, ink levels
and menu settings. In addition, the
new monitor displays on-screen
instructions that show you how to
feed special media — such as fine
art paper or board paper — and
perform other operations.
2.5” colour LCD monitor
Unlike previous models, both Photo Black and Matte Black inks can be
loaded simultaneously. You can switch between the two via the printer
driver to match the media in use. Photo Black produces prints with
minimal grey for rich, highly detailed prints while Matte Black
significantly increases ink density when printing on more absorbent
matte surfaces.
