56 Image Adjustments and Effects
2. In the Layers tab, the new adjustment layer is inserted above the active
layer. The adjustment is applied to all underlying layers.
3. From the Adjustments tab, change the applied adjustment layer's settings to
suit your requirements. For example, for a levels adjustment:
To modify an adjustment layer:
1. Click the adjustment layer's name in the Layers tab.
2. From the Adjustments tab, modify the applied adjustment layer's settings.
To hide/show an adjustment layer:
Click Hide/Show Layer on the Layers tab.
