118 Using the Automatic Document Feeder
4. Turn over the automatic document feeder and place it on a
flat surface. Locate the two white tabs at one end of the
paper path guide. Pull the tabs up slightly, then push them
through the brackets.
5. Pull the paper path guide up and out.
6. Using a soft, dry cloth, gently wipe any dust from the
guide’s transparent plastic sheet. Be careful not to scratch
the guide.
caution:
Be careful not to touch
the automatic
document feeder’s
rollers or any metal
parts. Doing so may
damage the parts.
