Using Optional Accessories

CAUTION
Once you install a PhotoSpan module, you can’t remove it. Make sure
you think about your future needs before you decide whether to install
the 2MB module or the 4MB module.
Installing PhotoSpan Memory Modules
Before you install a PhotoSpan module, make sure you erase all pictures
in the camera and turn it off.
CAUTION
PhotoSpan modules are sensitive to static electricity and easily
damaged. Be sure you ground yourself by touching a metal object before
you handle the module, and never touch the module’s metallic area.
Follow these steps to install a PhotoSpan module:

Open the battery compartment and remove the batteries as
described on page 1-3.

Place the camera on end to access the memory socket cover tabs.

Press down on the tabs with your thumbs and carefully pull the
socket cover away from the camera.
