Troubleshooting 102
Cover Open
Explanation:
The cover on the printer is open.
Close the cover.
Print Data Error
Explanation:
The print data is deleted because it is incorrect.
Make sure the appropriate printer driver are used.
Insufficient Memory to Print All Copies
Explanation:
Printing by the specified number of copies is no longer possible due to insufficient memory (RAM).
Print only one copy at a time.
Print Quality Decreased (due to insufficient memory)
Explanation:
There is insufficient memory to print the page at the specified print quality.
The printer automatically lowers the print quality so that it can continue printing. If the quality of
the printout is not acceptable, simplify the page by limiting the number of graphics or reducing
the number and size of fonts.
You may need to increase the amount of printer memory so that you can get the desired print
quality for your document. For more information on adding memory, see “Memory Module” on
page 59.
Insufficient Memory for Current Task
Explanation:
The printer has insufficient memory to complete the current print job.
Press the Information button on the control panel to clear the warning. To cancel the print job,
use your computer to delete it from the print queue.
To prevent this problem from recurring, add more memory to your printer as described in
“Memory modules” on page 158, or reduce the resolution of the image to be printed.
Self Test
Explanation:
The printer is currently performing a self test and initialization.
