Most problems you encounter while operating your scanner and

If some settings appear dimmed in EPSON Scan, they cannot be selected
because of the capability of your scanner or your choice of other settings.
Error indicator
If an error occurs, the scanner stops operating and the indicator
light
indicates the error type as described below.
