Printing Without a Computer

Using PhotoEnhance

You can use the PhotoEnhance feature to apply PRINT Image Matching or optimize

brightness and contrast—in all printing modes except Index, and with all types of

paper.

1. Select your Print Mode and other settings.

2. When you’re ready to print, make sure

selected in the PhotoEnhance menu.

3. Press the large green

button. Your photos are printed.

When you turn on the PhotoEnhance setting, it applies to all pictures in your print

job.

Adjusting Brightness

You can make your photos lighter or darker using the

Brightness

button. The setting

you choose applies to all pictures in your print job—in all printing modes except

Index, and with all types of paper.

1. Select your Print Mode and other settings.

2. When you’re ready to print, press the

Brightness

button. The word

Brightness

flashes on the Select

Photo menu, and the number

is displayed.

3. Press the button to make your pictures 1 level lighter (

is displayed). Press the

button again to make your pictures 2 levels lighter (

is displayed).

Press the button once or twice to make them 1 or 2 levels darker (

displayed).

4. Press the

Brightness

button again to save the setting. The word

Brightness

stops flashing, and your selected (or total) photo number is displayed again.

5. Press the large green

button. Your photos are printed.
