Printing Without a Computer

Using Filters

You can use filters to enhance or add special effects to individual photos. Nine filter

effects are available, as listed below. (Four of the filters have the same effect as the

brightness settings.) Filters work in all print modes except Index, on all types of paper.

1. Select your Print Mode and other settings and select the photo(s) you want to

print.

2. Press and hold the

Brightness

button until

. flashes on the Copies menu.

3. In the Select Photo menu, use the button to select

the number of the picture that you want to print with a filter.

4. In the Copies menu, press the button to select the filter number you want:

black and white 6

1 level darker

sepia (brown tones) 7

2 levels darker

high contrast 8

more vivid

1 level brighter 9

sharper

2 levels brighter

Brightness level -2 (filter 7)

Brightness level -1 (filter 6)
