OBJECTIVE 3: Understanding PROFESSIONAL MODE

Understanding the Professional Mode interface

In the Professional Mode, there are many options available to give you greater control

over your scanning. You can sharpen, correct or enhance your images before scanning

them in the Professional Mode. [Only normal preview available.]

• Specify the Document Type, Image Type, and Destination settings to match your

images.

• Select the appropriate resolution according to your scanning purpose.

• Use the Adjustments buttons to make adjustments in color balance, saturation, etc.

(Click the Reset button to clear these settings if you are not happy with the results.)
