Pausing a Run
Once a run has started, you can manually pause a run, in order
to add a reagent to your samples, for example, using the PAUS E
key. Note that the instrument will automatically pause if you
select the Pause option in a CYCL or AUTO program.
! WARNING !
Be careful not to touch the sample block or the
bottom of the heated cover during a pause. These areas may be
hotter than 100 degrees C.

Press the
PAUS E
key.
The instrument beeps and a display similar to the one shown below
appears.
This display occurs in a CYCL program.

Press
RUN
to resume the run (from where you left off).
Stopping a Run

To abort a run at any time, press the
STOP
key.
The following appears on the second line of the display:

If you want to abort the run, press
ENTER
to accept the “YES”
selection.
