Using the Control Panel 89
Printer cover open
(both lights continuously blink for 0.5 second twice and then go out for 1 second)
The printer cover is open during printing. Close the printer cover.
Printer error restart printer
(both lights blink every 0.5 second)
Printer error occurs. Turn off the printer and then back on.
If the error does not clear, turn off the printer
and make sure no paper is jammed in the
printer, then turn back on the printer.

If the error does not clear again, turn off the
printer again and contact Epson Service
Center.

Service required
(each light blinks alternatively)
Parts inside the printer are at the end of their
service life.
Contact Epson Service Center to replace
them.

Nozzle maintenance required
Print head nozzles are clogged or
misaligned.
Perform the nozzle check and print head
cleaning.

Press the H Ink button to recover from error
status.

Unknown printer error
An unknown printer error has occurred. Turn off the printer and then back on. If the
