Changes to SelecType

When you install the EpsonScript option, the SelecType

settings are slightly changed. Some settings are added to allow

you to change settings specific to the EpsonScript option. Other

settings, which are available for the built-in emulation modes,

might not be applicable for EpsonScript and are not selectable

in EpsonScript mode. Also additional status and error

messages can appear when you use EpsonScript.

This chapter describes how SelecType is different for

EpsonScript mode. See the section appropriate for your printer

type.

EPL-5000/5200 and ActionLaser 1000/1500

When using EpsonScript, there are minor changes to both

SelecType Level 1 and Level 2 as well as additional status and

error messages.

Level 1 changes

When you use EpsonScript, the Level 1 menu is changed as

follows:

The ORIENT, FONT, and SUB CONFIG items are not

accessible.

Two new Level 1 menu items are available: RECOVER JAM

and ERR SHEET. These items are discussed below.

The SYSTEM CONFIG menu has some new items added

and some other items deleted.
