Setup in Mac OS X 10.4.x Tiger

FastRIP

Mac OS X will work 10.4.x Tiger. The printer cables that will work are USB to

Parallel, USB to USB, or Ethernet cable. FireWire cables will NOT work. Below are

instructions to add the Print Driver.

1. Install FastRIP

Mac OS X.

2. Turn the Epson printer ON and connect the printer to your computer.

3. Go to Macintosh HD>Applications>Utilities. Double-click on

Printer Setup Utility.

4. Click and highlight the Epson printer. It might be named

Stylus Pro *, Stylus Photo *, or Stylus Color *.

5. Click in the Name box and change the name to something like

FastRIP. If you have an Epson 7800 or 9800 printer you may

want to add Full or Sheet at the end to know if you are printing by

cut sheet or roll film.

6. Expand the Print Using menu and select FastRIP. Under

Model select the PPD for your printer.

7. Click Add. In the Printer List the new FastRIP print driver should appear.

8. Insert the USB Dongle into a USB port on the computer.

9. Open FastRIP

. A blue tab or button will display the name of the newly created

FastRIP print driver.
