Q: Jaguar OSX 10.2 will not allow you save or edit Custom Page Sizes.

A: Upgrade your operating system to 10.2.8.

Printing from Graphics Programs

Q: Image prints as a rough draft or prints light in Adobe Photoshop.

A: Make sure that it is to print as a Separation and NOT as Composite. Look under Print

Space>Profile, make sure Profile says Same as Source or Separate. This may also say

Working Gray - Gray Generic Profile.

Q: When printing from Photoshop the image prints fine on the left but the right

prints a solid black box or vertical lines.

A: This is a memory leak within FastRIP

. Allocate 5 to 10 MB of memory to FastRIP

program. If the problem continues then keep allocating additional units of 5 to 10MB of

RAM until the file prints correct.

Q: Image prints as a composite and not as separations in Adobe Illustrator.

A: Go to File>Print. Expand the General menu and select Adobe Illustrator. Under

Output, change it from Composite to Separate.

Q: Printing from Illustrator, Freehand or Corel Draw some of the text is missing

characters.

A: Change the text to Outline form, but make sure you save a copy of the original file.

Once you change it to 'Create Outlines', you can not change the Fonts.

Q: Unable to print full color composite or Halftone color composite.

Answer: Go to File>Print and expand the General menu. Select Printer

Extensions>Print Mode and change the density.
